Mike Carin

Attorney at Law

Mike joined Mancini Law Group, P.C. in January 2018. As insurance companies fight for record profits, they adopt the strategy of taking even clear liability cases to trial. The Chicago office of the Mancini Law Group required an experienced and energetic lawyer to fight insurance strategies. Mike only represents Plaintiffs with personal injury cases against insurance companies. The laws in Illinois do not allow Plaintiffs to file lawsuits directly against insurance companies. Instead, insurance companies in Illinois hide behind the individuals named as Defendants. Mike possesses trial experience with automobile and premises liability claims. He fights for the individual against the insurance lawyers.

“Growing up, I never dreamed that I would read as many insurance policies as I can get my hands on or become a trial lawyer. But now, I cannot imagine life without helping people through their fight against insurance bullies.”

Prior to joining Mancini Law Group, P.C., Mike worked for two small Plaintiffs personal injury law firms. He earned success in trials, Cook County arbitrations, and American Arbitration Association arbitrations. He also earned success in obtaining favorable settlements prior to filing a lawsuit. He is admitted to practice in Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mike earned a law degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Before law school, he graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Political Science, then from Cleveland State University with a Masters of Business Administration. Mike belongs to the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group.

Mike lives in LaGrange Park with his wife, Meg, and their two sons, Gannon and Paul. When not fighting insurance companies, Mike spends time with his family and watches his sons swim, play soccer, and lacrosse.
