Professional Background

Michael Carin, Attorney at Law, joined Mancini Law Group, P.C. in January 2018, bringing courtroom experience and a client-first approach to personal injury litigation in Chicago. As insurance companies continue to prioritize record profits, they increasingly push even clear-liability cases toward trial. Michael was brought on to confront these aggressive defense strategies head-on.

Michael exclusively represents plaintiffs in personal injury cases, advocating for individuals harmed by negligence in automobile accidents, premises liability claims, and other serious injury matters. Under Illinois law, injured victims cannot sue insurance companies directly. Instead, insurers shield themselves behind named defendants. Michael Carin understands these tactics and focuses his practice on holding insurance lawyers accountable.

Helping people stand up to insurance bullies is not just my profession—it’s my purpose.

Before joining Mancini Law Group P.C., Michael worked at two respected plaintiff-side personal injury firms, achieving success in jury trials, Cook County arbitrations, and American Arbitration Association proceedings. He has also secured numerous favorable settlements before litigation was required.

Michael is licensed to practice law in Illinois and admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He earned his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, holds a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University, and received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Dayton.

Michael is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group.

Outside the courtroom, Michael Carin lives in LaGrange Park with his wife, Meg, and their two sons, Gannon and Paul. He enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his sons at swim meets, soccer games, and lacrosse matches.
